What does shipping cost?
Do to the significant increase in shipping costs, I've raised the free shipping minimum order to $150.
In a world of free shipping, it's hard to understand why anyone would charge for shipping. But the reality is: you pay for it somewhere :) I really want to keep item costs low so I need to charge for shipping. And 100% honestly, these shipping rates don't even cover what it costs to properly package and ship items. But I'm trying to keep it reasonable.
For Canadians, you can get around it by spending $150 or more and free shipping will automatically be applied to your order.
There are basically only two options:
Paper or flat items (Envelope) - $5
Package (box) - $15
Flat rate will be a max of $15 or FREE shipping if you spend $150 or more in the store.
TO THE US:
Small items can ship as letter mail for $6.50 (Canadian - approximately $5).
Anything larger will be flat rate of $18 (Canadian - approximately $14.50 US). I know that sounds expensive but it doesn't even cover my costs.
For Americans, you can get around it by spending $150 or more and free shipping will automatically be applied to your order.
Please note: Larger orders to the US may require duty fees paid upon arrival. Duty and additional taxes in the US are the responsibility of the customer.
Where does my order ship from?
Please note at that all orders ship from Canada and all prices are in Canadian dollars.
Orders normally ship twice a week from Belleville, Ontario.
Letter mail ships via Canada Post with no tracking + packages ship with either FedEx or UPS.

How long does shipping take?
I'm a one woman show so I ask you to appreciate and consider that as you read :)
Due to the current Covid situation, I am currently shipping all packages twice a week. Please click on the shop announcement at the top of the home page for the next shipping date. If you need something quicker, please send me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the Contact page and I will do my best to send it sooner if possible.
Orders within Canada usually arrive within a week and orders to the US can take a bit longer for letter mail. Packages shipped with FedEx and UPS generally take 2-3 business days. Please note that once the package is shipped, the speed at which it arrives is out of my hands :)
Do you restock items?
It completely depends on the product. Many of my items are handmade and one of a kind. Sourcing unique items can also be challenging. You're best bet - if you love something, grab it as it's unlikely it will reappear.
Returns + Exchanges
What is your return policy?
I believe in everything I sell and if you're not fully satisfied within 14 days of receiving your order, you're more than welcome to return it for store credit or a full refund. You are responsible for properly packaging your order and shipping it back at your expense.
Please note: For hygienic reasons, There are no returns on jewellery or hair accessories.
How do I initiate a return?
Should you like to make a return you have 14 days from receiving your order to initiate a return.
To start a return, please send a message to email@example.com with the following information:
Issue with the order
Whether you'd like a refund or store credit.
You are responsible for properly packaging your order and shipping it back at your expense.
** Please do not send a return without contacting me first. Returns without the proper communication will not be refunded.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your order is safely received back in perfect, unused condition, I will process the return and send a refund back to the origianal method of payment.
If you would prefer (and it's much better for me :) ) I can process your refund in the form of store credit. I will reach out to you once I have recieved your return.

Please keep in mind that I'm one person, running this business out of our guest room while managing a wedding photography business and life with four kids.
I'm quick on my email and will respond within 24 hours of your request but I ask that you be kind and patient.
The nature of handmade
Several of my items are handmade, including all of the pom poms. Due to the nature of handmade, each item will be a bit different. That's the beauty and uniqueness of something made from hand.
Colour, colour, colour
Colour is super important. It's the whole point I'm doing this. But please note:
Although I've done my best to truly represent all the colours, each monitor displays colour differently so there may be some variation in what you see online and what you receive in person.

Note about Books
All books in the shop are seconds. These books are new and in good reading condition and will, in some cases, have a small dot or line on the edge of the book to signify it is a discounted title. This means a better price for you and often these books can be hard to find at other book sellers.
